How MI Premier Rentals dropped the paperwork and kept expanding with Lockii
From extra trailer to a real fleet
Kevin Arszylo started the way a lot of operators do. He had an extra trailer sitting around, figured he could make some gas money from it, and did not think of it as a serious business. Then demand picked up.
Today MI Premier Rentals runs out of Troy, Michigan with more than trailers. The catalogue covers car haulers, enclosed units, dump trailers, ATVs, dirt bikes, jet skis, and seasonal gear. Customers book, pay, and unlock with a PIN. Delivery is available around Troy and nearby zip codes.
A mixed fleet is the point, and the problem. Every extra trailer or jet ski is more revenue only if paperwork, IDs, and reservations do not grow at the same rate.
Why Kevin switched to Lockii
Kevin was not looking for another generic booking tool. He was building his own software. He already knew the workflow he wanted: reservations in, IDs checked, contracts signed, access issued, without him typing it all by hand.
Lockii did the things he had been designing himself, with better fit and finish, and a direct line to developers who actually implement feedback. That last part mattered. Kevin did not want a vendor who collected feature requests and sat on them.
For an operator renting trailers one day and powersports the next, the software had to handle variety without creating a second admin job.
What changed after moving to Lockii
The paperwork fear dropped away. Kevin can expand without wondering whether he can keep up with demand, reservations, and signatures. He no longer has to manually enter bookings or chase ID checks and contracts for every rental.
That change is what makes a mixed fleet practical. Car haulers, dump trailers, jet skis, and dirt bikes can sit in one system instead of a stack of messages, PDFs, and calendar holds.
He is direct about the people behind it. Support makes him feel heard, and he calls it the highest class of service he has had. For someone who used to write the software himself, that relationship is the difference between a tool and a partner.
It did everything I thought about while I was making my software, and it was better fit and finish. Endlessly able to expand without fear anymore of being able to keep up with the demand and paperwork. You always feel heard, appreciated, and cared for.

What comes next for MI Premier Rentals
Kevin's long-term goal is blunt: take share from the big rental names. In his words, bankrupt U-Haul. That is a competitive target, not a feature request, and it only works if adding inventory does not add a clerk.
Lockii is the system that lets him keep widening the catalogue without widening the paperwork. More trailers, more powersports, same operator, less typing.
